The assembly of Managing Partners at Heritend Assets is driven by a lived experience of pain and frustration in managing their assets and properties across distant lands. People staying outside India face a veritable problem of maintaining their homes, assets and properties the way they always want it to be. As they visit India, they usually walk into a dusty home that had remained undisturbed for months with the air musty, dead and stifling. Cracked walls, a leaking spigot, a dewy washroom, a clogged pipe, a stubborn appliance refusing to work any longer or even a peeling paint can be intimidating and can take up the major part of their stay here. The Managing Partners with their relevant experience joined forces to address this practical issue and redress it with a highline solution that is sustainable, holistic and marketable.

It all started when four childhood friends from school came together in Kolkata one lazy evening to catch up on the days gone by. It was a shared evening not only redolent with revisiting the bygone memories but also an evening with a wild attempt to explore an innovative approach to alleviate real-world problems and the myriad woes in property/home maintenance. With two of the partners staying outside India- one in the US and the other in Dubai, the third one visiting the city occasionally from his remote work location in Barmer, Western Rajasthan, maintaining properties across distance was a proposition with long odds and slim possibilities. It was a mere wishful thinking to seamlessly return to a home and find it as if it had never been left. It appeared a paradoxical riddle without a solution- a koan.

This yearning and the nearly wild thoughts of the four companionable soul mates gradually crystallized into contours of an ideation. Heritend became the overlooked schema. And the bespoken solution.
